ShadowX link-card publication gates
Define evidence, destination and freshness gates for the two ShadowX link cards. This guide treats ShadowX and ShadowX Market search terms as research labels, not as proof that a destination is official or safe.
Gate one: source evidence
Require a dated source with a traceable relationship to the claimed ShadowX destination. Repeated anonymous posts do not satisfy this gate.
Record the exact statement that supports publication.
Gate two: destination review
Inspect hostname spelling, redirect hops, transport warnings and the final page purpose. A destination that unexpectedly requests credentials must remain disabled.
Availability and provenance are recorded separately.
Gate three: freshness
Assign a review date and an owner for rechecking the card. Expired evidence moves the card back to pending rather than leaving it active indefinitely.
The public label should explain the state without implying a guarantee.
Gate four: consistent release
Update visible text, button state, structured data and audit records together. Keep the two cards independently editable in the admin panel.
Notify Bing only when the homepage content meaning changes.
Frequently asked questions
Why are ShadowX link cards disabled by default?
A destination should not be clickable until its evidence and route checks are complete.
Can the two cards have different statuses?
Yes. Each destination is reviewed and managed independently.
